12 of 12 in 2012 and other things...

So, I've decided that a photo-a-day is too hard. I could probably do a photo a week. Pretty easily, actually. But I'm also not the best at remembering to post anything here about it lol

But I came across the idea of 12 of 12, and thought it sounded like fun. The idea is easy... Take 12 photos on the 12th of each month in 2012. Remembering to post one photo a month is definitely something I can handle! lol So here is my first one! :)



With the kids at home and MrD flitting back and forth from here to the new house, life has been a little hectic. Trying to keep the kidlets busy is hard, but we're getting there. Today Scooter started a collage/art journal page. So far she's just got magazine pictures, but tomorrow she will be adding to it.



In other news, I've been a fan of ColourLovers for quite a while now, and they are soon to be launching what looks like it will be a pretty cool and handy site for graphic designers and artists called the Creative Market.



It will be a place for those in the graphics profession (and those who need such graphics) to buy and sell quality handmade vectors, patterns, brushes, fonts and more. It's definitely something that I will be keeping an eye on, and I encourage you to sign up (it's free lol) and have a look when they are up and running as well.

And now I suppose I should head to bed. Late at night is the only time I get to have some peace and quiet to myself at the moment. I'll be glad when the kidlets get back to school and routine returns somewhat. But I guess I will also be painting and helping to supervise 2 lots of renovations as well. What fun! lol
