Today

This year I've decided to have a crack at the Photo A Day thing. Figured it should keep me out of trouble for a little while and teach me a few things about my camera at the same time (at least take it off full auto mode lol)

Day 1 is all about Today. It's a New Year, which means a new calendar. This year I have the all Aussie artist calendar from *bespoke* zine. It was a limited edition run and I love it. Lots of room to write all the crap I write on the calendar (swim training, music lessons, birthdays etc etc) and a pretty picture from a talented local artist every month.

For those wondering, MrD came home from hospital on the kid's last day of school. He promptly asked me to drive him to get pizza and chips lol I think the hospital food left a lot to be desired ;) He got better slowly, and he's much better now, although he still gets slight twinges every now and then and the skin on his leg is all peeling where the infection was. He was incredibly lucky because he was seriously ill when I rushed him to emergency. But it's all onwards and upwards from here :)

And here's to a new year... one that is relatively calm and gentle sailing for a change. My store will be open again shortly, I'm just figuring out a few internet access hiccups :) Be well and be safe, and have an awesome new year :)
